A few years ago I returned to my home town of Wagrain and started to renovate my parents’ house. Piece by piece, the interior and exterior were renovated. During the renovation, I paid special attention to natural materials and local sources. The character of a house from the 1970s was to be preserved, and the house was to be carefully adapted to today’s needs and ideas.
Now, in addition to my work in the cultural sector, I have decided to offer the two holiday flats, which my parents had already rented out to guests decades ago, again from Christmas 2022. It is especially important to me that the guests feel completely comfortable and welcome and feel the love for the details and the quality.
The garden is close to my heart, which I have been intensively cultivating and constantly expanding in recent years. I invite guests to immerse themselves in it and experience nature in the mountains with all their senses.
Our holiday flats are perfectly located in the heart of Snow Space Salzburg in Ski amadé. In a quiet location on the outskirts of Wagrain on the sunny Kirchboden and yet close to all attractions and facilities. In addition, our house has been newly and carefully renovated in recent years, furnished in a timeless classic-rustic style. We attach particular importance to an atmosphere of well-being and enjoyment, both inside and out.
All flats have a well-equipped kitchenette with electric cooker, fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee machine, a modern bathroom with rain shower, cosy living room and bedroom and balcony. Here, all those seeking peace and quiet will find enough space to relax and spend their holidays.

General Information
- Arrival: You can move into your flat from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Please let us know by phone in case of a late arrival.
- Departure: On departure you are asked to vacate the flat by 10:00 am.
- Local tax: additional € 2,30 per person (from 15 years)
- Linen change: Towel change 2 x weekly, bed linen 1 x weekly
- Final cleaning: additional € 35,- to 45,- depending on the flat. € 15,- for the guest room.
- Pets: are not allowed, we ask for your understanding as a cat lives in the house.
- Accessibility: There is no accessibility in our house. The holiday flats and the guest room are on the first floor without lift.
- Non-smoking: in the whole house. Only permitted in the outdoor area with the use of ashtrays.
- Bread roll delivery service: The Wagrain bakery Steinbauer delivers fresh bread and pastries to our house daily. Please order from us for the following day by 7pm at the latest, delivery takes place in the morning at approx. 7am.
- Booking/Reservation – Deposit: You can make your deposit by credit card or instant bank transfer.
- Payment options: You can pay your bill on site in cash or with your EC card (debit card) or credit card (Mastercard, Visa) or Apple Pay.
- Daily free admission to the Wasserwelt Wagrain, in summer all day, in winter 3 hours (don’t forget your own bath towels, subject to the opening hours).
- Voucher for free admission to the two Wagrain museums: Waggerl Haus Museum and Silent Night Museum (subject to the museums’ opening hours)
Sustainability
This spring, our business sought the internationally recognised certification of Green Destinations (Good Travel seal), thereby supporting the comprehensive sustainability efforts of our Wagrain-Kleinarl tourism region. For us, sustainability is a matter of attitude and a long process that we started out of full, inner conviction. In addition to the needs of our guests, it is equally important to us to promote the well-being of the region and to respect our beautiful nature and preserve it for future generations.
We have already taken several measures in this regard, mainly concerning ecological sustainability, with the certification of our garden by “Nature in the Garden”, a strong waste separation, measures for waste avoidance, use of natural materials and cooperation with regional partners.

The quiet and spacious flat Hochgründeck is also located on the first floor of our house. Its rooms and balcony face west. It has a large living-sleeping area, a small kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower and WC.
